Anamaria Marinca, a Romanian-born actress. Her debut on screen was through her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. Fluently speaks French, German and English. The father of her mother was an actor, and her mother was a violinist. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor Award in 2000, for her performance in the Mangalia Gala for Young Actors. The year 2008 saw her named as an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. The actress was an instructor of the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria Martinca is a Romanian acting born on April 1, 1978 in the city of Iasi, Romania. The debut film of the actress, Sex Traffic, won the award of British Academy Television in the category of Best Actress. She also received several prizes for her performance in the film 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. She was in 2007 the lead role in on the Romanian movie 4 luni 3 semaines si2 zile (4 Three Weeks, Four Months 3 Weeks, 3 Weeks, 2 Days), produced by Cristian Mungiu. The film received two awards at Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also part of her career. In 2008 she played Yasim anwar in the BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian drama Boogie. She appeared as Irma in Fury 2014, in which she played the role of a German name aunt of Emma.
