Robyn Rihanna - also known as Rihanna - is a Barbadian pop songwriter and singer. Her hits include such as Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, Take a Bow. Still in her prime, Rihanna has become one of music's most popular performers. Born in Barbados her family listened to reggae music and began singing when she was quite young. To escape the tensions in her family and also the constant arguments between her parents, she started singing. At the age of 16 she formed a band of musicians and got the chance to meet music producer Evan Rodgers. He was stunned by her talent. He requested for the teenager to relocate in New York and pursue a professional singing career. Rihanna jumped at the chance to take it. Her debut album was soon released and Rihanna was a cult artist before long. The songs that were aplenty of foot tapping became the hot favorites of teens, which led her to get into film and films. Rihanna is a young and talented woman who has become her own style icon as well as a teen icon. Rihanna is also involved in helping charities and uses her fame.
